ParentPathway.com is an online information and communications service (the “Service”) of Parent Pathway, LLC. Use of the Service is governed by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Please read this Agreement carefully before accessing or using the Service.
All content on or of the Site, such as text, graphics, images, information obtained from Parent Pathway’s licensors, and other material contained on the Site (“Content”) are for informational purposes only. The Content is not intended to replace any kind of medical advice, diagnosis or treatment including professional mental health, substance abuse, or physical medical advice. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider or substance abuse professionals with any questions you may have regarding a substance abuse condition. Never disregard professional substance abuse, mental health, medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on the Parent Pathway Site.
If you think you may have an emergency, call your doctor or 911 immediately. Parent Pathway may only periodically check user communications (including emails, Facebook communications, Twitter communications, etc.) and does not retain substance abuse, mental health professionals or doctors as employees. Please contact your doctor or 911, not Parent Pathway, in case of an emergency; Parent Pathway is not responsible for following up on such communications.
Parent Pathway does not recommend or endorse any specific tests, physicians, products, procedures, opinions, or other information that may be mentioned on the Site. Contents of Ask Experts, Parent Blog, and Stories of Hope represent personal opinions of relevant professionals and also people with experience to share, and are not endorsed by Parent Pathway. Contents of Public Areas (as defined below) are personal opinions of the author, and are not endorsed by Parent Pathway. Rely at your own risk on any information provided by Parent Pathway, Parent Pathway employees, others appearing on the Site at the invitation of Parent Pathway, or other visitors to the Site.
The Site allows users to read and comment on questions and answers from substance abuse, mental health and wellness professionals or other content providers; read about and comment on substance abuse, mental health and wellness-related products; read and comment on news-related stories, blogs, stories of hope, feature articles and other related content; read and comment on tips and anecdotes and other related content; vote in polls and view current poll results. The Site may allow users to participate in member communities including message boards and forums; use interactive tools that ask for personal information; create and share user-generated content such as blogs; attend webinars and participate in live chats with experts.
Use of some or all of these activities may require you to become a member of the Site by providing your email address, a username, password, date of birth, zip code and other personal information. If you are not comfortable providing any of this information, do not use this Site.
Be aware that this Site is not intended or designed to attract children under the age of 18. We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information from any person we actually know is a child under the age of 18. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children
